The newer GPT Image 2.5 models (Sunburst and Flare) are priced only in tokens, at $30 per million image output tokens, with an interactive estimator on the same page. Token rates for gpt-image-2 are $30/M image output, $8/M image input, $5/M text input; edits add input tokens on top, since image inputs are always processed at high fidelity. Streaming a partial image costs 100 extra output tokens each.
